A rather unusual, but adequate, perch.

Dr. Julien Chaput

Welcome to my page!

I am a Canadian assistant professor of Geophysics at the University of Texas at El Paso, with broad interests that include everything from passive seismic imaging and temporal monitoring of cryospheric and volcanic systems, to ionospheric imaging using ambient GPS signals, through to prototyping new approaches in ultrasonic medical imaging. I work with various other institutions to develop new methods in data driven science over a broad range of topics. Interested in seismology projects, opportunities, or collaborations? Just like volcanoes and applied mathematics? Say hi! You can contact me at jachaput@utep.edu.
